Testing out some new software again. Eventually I will find the perfect fit... I can be really indecisive sometimes... hehehe I'll erase this eventually. This one seems ok even though I can't tell what my font looks like on here because this definitely doesn't look like cursive.... we'll see after I post it.

This past week has been so much FUN! Been hanging out a lot with Stephen’s fam and hey always have me cracking up. I’m actually over at his aunt Denice’s house right now and she is getting her food together for dinner tonight. Stephen’s mom and stepdad and cousins have come up from North Carolina for his grandmother’s 75 birthday who yeah, lol, came up with them too. Wow… suddenly I don’t feel like typing anymore. Maybe I’ll come back on in a few hours and type up some more because I would like to tell you all about our big cookout out by the Hudson River yesterday (gorgeous) and the rest of this week hanging out with the family. Wish Tee Tee could have come. Anywho, laters!
Another chillmode Sunday. Didn't do much of anything today besides update and download new software for my desktop that I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate onto. For this OS to be brand new, it’s already compatible with a lot of stuff that I have on my Vista laptop. Oh did I mention that I finally got Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.7 onto my Dell laptop!! I installed the Mac OS X onto an old external hard drive that I don’t really use anymore and I just boot to it from my laptop. The only downside is that once Mac OS X starts up my keyboard and touchpad stops working which is a common problem. Luckily I have a wireless keyboard and mouse on my desktop so I just connect them to my laptop while I’m booted into Mac OSX. So now it’s like having a desktop PC, a laptop PC and a Macbook Pro! w00t!!
Now that my nerd talk is out the way, Got a little bit of my pain back today from my surgery wound. Olivia accidentally kneed me in the stomach this morning and it’s been sore since. Overall though, I feel ok. Went out to CVS with Stephen this morning so got out the house for a brief second even though it was raining cats and dogs. Right now he’s chillin doing his thing on the laptop, I’m on here, the desktop doing this and chatting it up with some folks on Twitter. NO I’m not addicted and never was. I know denial is not good but I don’t tweet no where near as often as I used to. I tweet with people on twitter that has well over 20,000 tweets since earlier this year. That’s an ass load of tweeting!! I have 6,000 now and I started tweeting in February of this year. Most of those were from when I first starting really using twitter. Found new friends on there and it was fun chatting with them so I was on a lot. I got away from it though when I went to “Twitter Rehab” which is basically going a full 24 hours or more without tweeting at all. I did that twice and it broke the spell everyone assumed I was under. but I have a lot of people that I follow on there who’s name’s I see all over my screen constantly because they are addicted and they tweet all day long. I wonder who they could ever get anything done. I know when I’m playing around on the computer at work I get so behind in my work that it ain’t funny. So I don't see how these people can constantly be tweeting while they are at work and still get their work done… I haven’t a clue.
Stephen and I watched Orphan tonight… it was kinda boring until getting closer to the end of the movie. In my opinion not work the high dollar New York theater tickets. That movie makes you not want to ever adopt a kid though, especially an older one. That bitch was CRAZY! So here we go… I guess this is it for me… need to get some sleep since I stayed up so late last night. Didn’t get any naps in today so I guess its time for me to hit the hay… oh wait, that rhymed!! w00t!! Ok seriously goodnight readers. Come check me out some other time!
Yes, I know that it’s late and yes, I know that I’m a typical indecisive woman since I cannot seem to make up my mind about what I want my blog to look like. I think I’ve change the template and rearranged things like 3 times this week. Hey its my blog and I can do what I want to!! Anywho, I feel content with this one so it’s going to be up for a while.
So Stephen is out in Staten Island then to Midtown in Manhattan with Armondo tonight. By now they’re probably in Manhattan. I so wish I could be out and about with him. Even if I was fully healed tonight I probably still would have been stuck in the house because Michael isn’t here. As far as my surgery wound goes, it has gotten a lot better. The only time I feel pain is when I over exert myself by standing or walking for too long or if I try to pick up something heavy. It still hurts when I turn over in bed at night too. Bummer. From what I can tell though I’m healing up quite nicely.
I switched back to writing in my blogs with Windows Live Writer again because after a few days of playing around with Skypetr, I got really tired of it quickly because it’s still so buggy. Windows Live Writer does the trick and some so I guess I’ll just stick with it. I wish I could get this thing in a portable version to put on my flash drive.
Anywho, this weekend just like last weekend was very uneventful, or least for me it was. Stephen’s been out doing his thing out in the city to make money. I’ve been here with my heathenish daughter bored out our minds. That’s how I ended up changing my blog again you know? I’m bored with too much time on my hands. Oh today I finally redid Stephen’s myspace page. It’s not much since you are limited to what you can do on there but nonetheless it turned out pretty cool. I love the background. I think the link to his myspace page is www.myspace.com/stephendarbeau . I’m feeling too lazy right now to go confirm this link so if its wrong just do a search for him. He’s a hard worker and whatever success he finally receives he definitely deserves. He’s the type of guy who’s always good to have in your corner. I’m so glad he’s in mine.
