I have a 36 year old friend that as I type this is lying in a hospital bed at Duke Raleigh Hospital, dying of what started as breast cancer but metastasized. Today she was only given a few more days to live but everyone, including myself, don't think she'll make it even that long. Since being diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer back in April, she has suffered a stroke, a blood clot in her lungs and a hole in her heart. Her cancer had spread to her brain and lungs. She was so weak today she could barely keep her eyes open. She was in so much pain that she kept moaning, loudly until the nurse brought her more morphine. I'm sad now but I'll come back, maybe, and add more later. We need to beat cancer... no if's and's or but's about it. We need to beat cancer. She and her 5 kids don't deserve this, nor do the other millions who have died from cancer.

Yes, I know that it has been forever since I last wrote in here, ranting and raving about Planet Wings LOLOL. Anywho, to my 1 or 2 readers, I have relocated back to Raleigh NC! YAY! My home is North Carolina although I am missing New York terribly, more so than I ever thought I would. Yeah yeah I sound like your typical indecisive woman BUT I really do miss it. I enjoy being so close to my family though and my rent here for a 2 bedroom is about $600 per month compared to the 1 bedroom we had in NY for $1200. I'm getting back into the swing of NC things pretty easily. Got good friends at home and at work. And yes I am working, in medical billing still but through a temp agency. I'm praying that the position becomes permanent for me because the company I work for is a great one. I am back in school again. I'm currently taking classes with Devry towards a BS in computer information systems. I'm finally pursuing that degree in CIS although I've always said computers is not going to be my career but accounting is. I still want to do accounting someday, maybe I'll do that on the side one day. My passion is definitely working on and with computers. We'll see how long I am content with this lol. I can be the epitome of indecisiveness sometimes. Anyways, Olivia's doing well. She's 3 now and nutty just like me. Very bright too. She's thriving. Stephen's doing well, he's working out in Durham bringing home good money. I spend a lot of time with his family. I love them a lot. Ok, enough with this for tonight, I'll try not to stay gone to long this time. Not making any promises though LOL. Goodnight and back to watching The First 48! I hope you enjoy my thoughts blog!

Damn Planet Wings!!!!

Ordered food from Planet Wings.... I specifically asked for no sour cream on my tacos and what did I get? SOUR CREAM ON MY TACOS!!!! So I called them back to let them know that the food they had delivered was wrong. The guy who answered says that they'll send a new batch of tacos out to me within the hour. An hour goes by. I call again to see what's going and the guy who fed me the story about bringing me more food within an hour and who originally took my order answered the phone. The fool tells me then that because they only have one driver and they are super busy, all they can do is offer me a 10% discount on my next order. I was just like whatever and hung up. Then I sat and thought about it... I paid for some food that I can't eat and all u can do is offer me a lousy 10% discount IF I ever even order from them again? Oh hell no! That was unacceptable to me so I called back and told the stupid guy so and demanded either a refund or more food tonight. His dumbass basically studdered and said I'm sorry but that's all I can do for you tonight. By this point I was willing to try to pull his ass though the phone to slap him up. I told him to have his manager call me whenever he got in because apparently he was the delivery driver. About 30 minutes later the manager finally called and he's defensive and ready to try and lay a guilt trip by telling me how the guy how took my order didn't know this and that but I wasn't hearing that. He then uses sarcasm while telling me that he'd pay $10 out of the pocket of his fat guy jeans to pay towards our next order just to keep from having to come back out tonight. I let him know that them messing up my order and then bullshitting me wasn't cool since we order from them almost weekly and now I'm sitting here hungry with food I can't eat. He's then like I told you it was a mistake and I understand how you feel and I apologize but ppl make mistakes. I tell him that's fine and great but in the end I'm still the one that got shitted on because I still paid for some food that I can't eat! I told him that it's there problem because they should check the food to make sure it's right before they send out shit. He was just like yeah your right... At that point I just get off the phone because I just wanted to explode. I ate the extra 5 wings I ordered and some other food out the kitchen. Still so annoyed that if I had a car out here with me I'd drive out there just to throw these disgusting sour cream tacos in their faces! Bums... Anyway, I just wanted to share my frustrations. Helloooo, Hiiiii! BUZZZZZ

So, I've been playing around with Buzz and I digg it. It keeps me from having to flood my facebook page with a bunch of links which I'm sure my friends there don't too much care about since most of my links are about techie things.

Anywho, I know that I've been neglecting my blog, ok, sorry... it's not like I have a whooooole bunch of readers anyway. But to you who do stop by every now and then, sorry for the neglect and I promise that I will be updating more often.

My next big project besides something with computers, is moving back home to North Carolina and I am SUPER DUPER excited about it. I've been wanting to go home for a long time now... years to be exact so this is huge for me. I am currently applying to jobs down there and apartment search and let me tell you that is a task since I am more than 500 miles away. I'm trying to get some interviews scheduled around the same time so that I can come down go to interviews and check out apartments all while I'm down there at one time. I've gotten a few hits on jobs but nothing that pays what I am looking for. Stephen has been calling apartments and we've narrowed down our search of places we're going to look at. If anyone has any suggestions on what else I should be doing to ease the transition of moving back home, PLEASE let me know.

Ok since I am at work, this is all for now. And again, I promise that I'll start posting more. I just have to find my niche... where exactly I'm going with this besides basically a virtual diary that everyone is allowed to read. I don't know yet. Hollah readers!!
